Machine Operator/Metallizer - 1st and 2nd Shift    

Responsible for operating automated machinery

 

Essential Functions

  • Machine set up based on order requirements.

  • Operate and monitor equipment.

  • Visually inspect product for defects and report to supervisor.

  • Testing of material.

  • Maintain cleanliness of Equipment and assigned area.

  • Use of calipers and other hand tools.

  • Complete Operation log.

  • Maintain confidentiality.

​

Supervisor Responsibilities: None

​

Qualifications

  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension.

  • Knowledge of ISO helpful

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Capable of working overtime when needed.

​

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 50lbs periodically.

  • Climb up and down ladder.

  • Able to manipulate small hand tools.

 

Work Environment

  • Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.

  • Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.

  • Note: Initial training during 1st shift; 1st shift is 4:30AM-2:30PM – 2nd shift 2:30PM-12:30AM Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri

Compensation

  • Full-time, hourly (non-Exempt) role.

Electronics Technician
​

Responsible for production machines

 

Essential Functions

  • Design, build, upgrade, and maintain all electronic devices for manufacturing processes, including PLC’s and soldering.

  • Development of electronics for proprietary company manufacturing equipment.

  • Create documentation of design work, i.e. wiring schematics.  Update/write technical operation and training manuals.

  • Repair and calibrate test equipment including Fluke multimeters.

  • Build and test special electronic test fixtures for production machines.

  • Troubleshoot when there are issues with equipment.

  • Analyze and repair production electronics equipment to the component level.

  • Maintain confidentiality.

 

Supervisor responsibilities: None

 

Qualifications

  • Two (2) year degree in Electronics.

  • Two (2) years of experience required.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of ISO 

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Capable of working overtime when needed

  • Ability to lift 25lbs periodically.

  • Climb up and down ladder.

  • Able to manipulate small hand tools.

 

Work Environment

  • Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.

  • Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.

Machine Maintenance
​

Responsible for maintaining production machinery

 

Essential Functions

  • Change oil in vacuum pump on production machines.

  • Repair other machines in building as necessary.

  • Available for Overtime when needed as machines require unscheduled maintenance.

  • Possible call in on afterhours and weekends when production is running.

  • Maintain confidentiality.

​

Supervisor responsibilities: None

​

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic electrical knowledge for safety purposes.

  • Knowledge of vacuum systems.

  • Hydraulic system experience.

  • Two (2) years of experience required.

  • Works well in a team environment.

​

Physical demands

  • Ability to lift 50lbs periodically.

  • Climb up and down ladder.

  • Able to manipulate small hand tools.

​

Work Environment

  • Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.

  • Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.

Slitter - 2nd Shift                                                      

Responsible for slitting material after metallization

 

Essential Functions

  • Machine set up based on order requirements.

  • Operate and monitor equipment.

  • Visually inspect product for defects and report to supervisor.

  • Testing of material.

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.

​

Supervisor Responsibilities: None

​

Qualifications

  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Capable of working overtime when needed.

  • Alternate between sitting and standing at the machines.

​

Work Environment

  • Noise level in the work environment is normal.

  • Open room

  • Note: Initial training during 1st shift; After training, 2nd shift is 2:30PM-12:30AM Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri.

  • Full-time, hourly (non-Exempt) role.
